The Center for Character and Citizenship (CCC) at the University of Missouri-St. Louis is a partner with the Liston Group in providing the first assessment of character development: The Character Growth Index (CGI).  Dr. Marvin Berkowitz and Dr. Wolfgang Althof are co-directors of CCC:  www.characterandcitizenship.org

Character.org is the leader in US K-12 grade character education: www.character.org

The Jubilee Centre for Character and Virtues is part of the School of Education at the University of Birmingham. Their website has many free resources including character lessons: www.jubileecentre.ac.uk


Character Lab is an excellent resource of Positive Psychology research and tools that increasingly focuses on K-12 education: www.characterlab.org


International Positive Education Network (IPEN) is a new professional organization applying principles of Positive Psychology to K-12 education: www.ipositive-education.net


Values In Action (VIA) is a leader in research promoting character strengths.  A free questionnaire for teens is available at their website that will display a student’s character strengths in order from greatest to least:  www.viacharacter.org
